COVID-19 Update
Resuming Dental Services
We’re happy to announce that the Department of Health issued an alert allowing dental practices in New Mexico to begin providing dental care to patients. To comply with the required guidelines, Mesilla Valley Family Dentistry has implemented some extra precautions regarding the Coronavirus in addition to the universal precautions we already take to protect your health.
What we are doing:
- Telephone pre-screening and Temperature scan before each appointment — all patients must have a temperature less than 100.4 degrees to be seen.
- Disinfecting the entire waiting room daily — receptionist desk, furniture, and bathroom. Seating will be re-organized to allow for proper social distancing.
- Hospital-grade air purifiers with HEPA filters and UV technology.
- Respirators and/or Surgical masks and face shields with full personal protective gear will be used by our staff.
- We’ve removed all magazine, toys, and unnecessary items from the waiting room.
- We have implemented designated times on the schedule for high-risk patients.
